The BCDSS will fund members up to 75% of the cost of course registration for Coaching Association of Canada Level 1 and Level 2 theory, sports first aid, Serving It Right certification, leadership development, and any other courses which the Board agrees to fund.

Application Procedure

1. The applicant must be a BCDSS member in good standing.
2. The applicant must email the BCDSS a brief outline of his/her qualifications, a description of the course, and a description of how the course will benefit the disc sports community. Approval must be sought prior to the start of the course.
3. The Board will determine what, if any, percentage of the course fees will be covered by the BCDSS based on the appropriateness of the course, the benefit to disc sports in BC, the qualifications of the applicant, and the amount of funds that the BCDSS has available for this program in this fiscal year.
4. If the Board approves the application, the applicant must submit to the Board a receipt of registration/payment (photocopy or original) no later than two months after the end of the course.
